Adam Stapleford is a London-based drummer & music educator with over 15 years professional experience both onstage and in the studio. Since graduating with a first from Newcastle University’s music degree he has collaborated with countless musicians across the UK, navigating a broad palette of genres spanning jazz, rock, pop and folk.
This insatiable appetite for rhythm has led him around the globe, be it studying jazz in Montrรฉal, percussion in North Africa, or performing at street theatre festivals with LED drummers Spark! in the Far East.
He is also a passionate educator, having tutored hundreds of students on drum kit in the pursuit of grades and higher education. As a community musician he has received training from The Glasshouse International Centre for Music and has designed and delivered youth music workshops for the YMCA.
